Welcome! :)

WELCOME!

Lately, many people have become interested in a very interesting animal called a sugar glider. Also, many people have sadly realized that a sugar glider is too much work for them after they purchase a sugar glider. This is a nonprofit website that is meant to teach people about this intriguing little animal.

This animal is not your average every day animal. They need a lot of attention, which is two or more hours, a companion, and trust me sugar gliders don't come cheap, and not to include that they cannot just have kibble, in fact kibble is not very good for them (I do not recommend buying sugar glider kibble, I am actually strongly advising you not to do so.) They have a diet that you will need to take care of, yes the diet includes fresh veggies and fruits every day and live insects such as the creepy crawlers called MEAL WORMS. So if you get the chills whenever you even see the bug, you will probably have trouble giving your gliders them!

When getting sugar gliders it is usually very pricy at first. Most people start out $900 which goes fast. Think, the food, the cage which has to be big because they are gliding animals, the gliders themselves, all of the things that go in the cage, and you should always go to the vet for a check up after you get them to make sure they are healthy.

You have to make sure they are legal in your area first though! If they are not and someone catches you, you can almost guarantee that your sugar gliders will be euthanized  and you will be charged or even go to jail depending on where you live!

So if you think you can do all this, a sugar glider might just be the right pet for you! But you should research before you buy them. I wish you luck!

      sincerely, Rose
